Citalopram Tablets

Citalopram tablets, mainly referred to as citalopram hydrobromide tablets, is an antidepressant that can be used to treat patients with major depression who have manic moods, decreased interest, longer-lasting depressed moods, significant loss of weight or appetite, as well as excessive fatigue, feelings of guilt or inferiority complex, and suicidal thoughts. This medication is more effective and safe, and it is also less allergenic. In the treatment of depression, usually two to four weeks patients can get gradual relief of depressive symptoms, usually maintenance treatment at least six months. Of course, the drug also has adverse effects, such as insomnia, headache, anxiety, fuzzy consciousness, tremor and so on. Abrupt discontinuation of this product should be avoided. When treatment with this product is discontinued, the dose should be gradually reduced over a period of at least one to two weeks in order to reduce the risk of discontinuation reactions. If intolerable symptoms develop after the dose is reduced or after treatment is discontinued, reinstatement of the previously prescribed dose may be considered. Subsequently, the physician may continue to reduce the dose, but at a more gentle rate. Citalopram tablets are prescription medications and must be used under the supervision of a medical professional. If any other medications are used, inform your doctor.
