What are the types of invasive breast cancer

The types of invasive breast cancer are mainly categorized into common and rare types, of which the common types include invasive ductal carcinoma and lobular carcinoma, and the rare types include tubular carcinoma and mucinous carcinoma. Clinically, invasive breast cancer mainly refers to a large group of malignant tumors of epithelial origin in the breast. According to the latest WHO histologic classification, it can be divided into two categories: common and rare invasive breast cancer. Among the common invasive breast cancers, invasive ductal carcinoma and lobular carcinoma are the most common, followed by microinvasive carcinoma and medullary carcinoma. Rare invasive breast cancers include tubular carcinoma, adenocarcinoma of sweat, mucinous carcinoma, metaplastic carcinoma, invasive papillary carcinoma, and neuroendocrine carcinoma.
