Antibiotic use in special populations (pregnant, lactating, pediatric)

  I. Pregnant women
  1.If viral infection is considered, Chinese medicine or no medicine can be chosen
  Oral application: antiviral granules or oral liquid, Shuanghuanglian capsule or oral liquid
  Intravenous application: Shuanghuanglian powder injection
  Tablets: Guilin watermelon cream tablets
  2. If bacterial infection is considered, penicillin or first or third generation cephalosporin can be chosen
  Oral application: penicillin V potassium tablets, amoxicillin capsules, cephalexin capsules, cephalexin
  Intravenous application: penicillin injection, cefazolin sodium, oxypiperazine penicillin, cefotaxime, cefadroxil.
  Cefotaxime, Ceftazidime, Cefoperazone
  ★Azithromycin can be considered as an option
  2.If fungal infection is present, choose fluconazole
  Second, lactation
  Except for piperacillin, the rest is basically the same as pregnant women
  Piperacillin is excreted in small amount by breast milk, which can sensitize infants and cause diarrhea, Candida infection and rash.
  III. Pediatric
  Cefuroxime, cefoxitin and other second-generation cephalosporins, aminoglycosides and chloramphenicol should be used with caution!
  Tetracyclines are prohibited for children under 8 years old!
  Lincomycin and clindamycin are prohibited for newborns under 1 month of age!
  Quinolones are contraindicated in children under 18 years of age!
  Miconazole is not used for children under 1 year of age.
