The cause of the baby’s disease by “rash” break —- rubella

There are many different types of rashes that babies are prone to, including maculopapular rash, rubella, blister rash, etc. Pediatricians often easily identify different causes based on the time of appearance, morphological distribution characteristics, and accompanying clinical manifestations of the rash. Now let’s talk about the common rash disease “rubella” in babies. 1, clinical features Rubella is a viral infection, common in childhood, through the respiratory droplet transmission of acute infectious diseases. It develops mostly in winter and spring and is easily prevalent in child care centers and kindergartens. The rash is small and sparse, evenly distributed, with pale red macules, starting on the head and face and rapidly spreading to the trunk and extremities, with no rash on the hands and feet within a day. During the rash, the body temperature does not rise anymore. There are fever, anorexia and respiratory symptoms, accompanied by swollen lymph nodes behind the ears and occiput, with mild pressure pain. 2. Home care During the fever period, you should drink more water, pay attention to rest, give your child easily digestible food, and take Chinese medicine to clear heat and detoxify the body. For fever and cough, you can give your child anti-fever and cough medicine as prescribed by the doctor. Since the disease is contagious, the baby should be isolated until 5 days after the rash appears. 3, prognosis The rash usually disappears within three days, the skin does not have pigmentation after the rash recedes, once the disease can be immune for life. At present, children in China have been vaccinated against rubella and the protection rate is 95%.
