Symptoms of cryptorchidism in men

Cryptorchidism in males can present with symptoms of an empty scrotum on the affected side, poor development, and no testicles in the scrotum on palpation. Cryptorchidism is a condition in which the male testicle fails to descend to the scrotum according to the normal developmental process, resulting in an empty scrotum on the affected side, poor development, and absence of testicles on palpation, which may lead to infertility or malignant changes. Cryptorchidism in men may be caused by endocrine dysfunction, abnormal testicular development, and heredity. It can be diagnosed by ultrasound and laparoscopic exploration. It can be improved by medication such as injection of chorionic gonadotropin, or treated by specialized doctors through surgery such as testicular fixation and autologous testicular transplantation. When patients have cryptorchidism, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for diagnosis and reasonable treatment by professional doctors. The above medications should be used under the guidance of a medical professional.
