There is no course of treatment for Vincristine Injection, which is usually given for 10 to 14 days depending on the patient’s condition. Vincristine is mainly used to improve the sequelae of cerebral infarction, sequelae of cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral arteriosclerosis and various symptoms induced by them. The duration of medication is correspondingly shorter for milder conditions, usually given for 10~14 days, while the duration of continuous medication is prolonged for severe symptoms. Vincristine has neuroprotective effects, can alleviate the cytotoxic effects induced by excitatory amino acids, and inhibit voltage-dependent calcium channels; Vincristine can inhibit platelet aggregation, reduce pathologic elevation of blood viscosity, and has the effect of improving cerebral circulation. Adverse reactions to this drug include dizziness, vertigo, fatigue, sweating, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, decreased blood pressure, and flushing. It is contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product, severe ischemic cardiomyopathy, severe cardiac arrhythmias, acute stages of intracranial hemorrhage, pregnancy and breastfeeding. This product needs to be used under medical supervision.
