If the patient is extremely concerned about the adverse effects of HPV infection on the cervix, even if the TCT test is normal, we can still perform a colposcopic cervical biopsy to clarify the state of cervical pathology. It is also possible to undergo regular annual gynecological examinations and cervical cancer screenings if the TCT is normal and the HPV high-risk subtype is positive. Therefore, patients with positive HPV high-risk subtypes do not need to panic.
