What do I need to do after surgery to remove lung cancer?

Lung cancer is the most common primary malignant tumor of the lung. Most lung cancers originate from the bronchial mucosa epithelium, so it is also called bronchial lung cancer. In the past 50 years, the incidence and death rate of lung cancer have increased rapidly in the world, especially in industrially developed countries, and lung cancer has taken the first place among male patients who died of cancer. There are few cases of lung cancer. It is expected that by 2025, China will have 1 million lung cancer patients, making it the world’s largest lung cancer country. Most of the treatments for lung cancer currently advocate maximum removal of lung cancer and maximum preservation of lung function, and more advocate lobectomy and surgical treatment combined with multiple methods of comprehensive treatment. 1. If the patient is radically resected, the lesion is completely removed and the current treatment is very good, the next step is mainly rest, which can be supplemented with some Chinese herbal tonics. The next task is to review, once every 3 months, mainly abdominal and neck ultrasound, chest CT and tumor markers, the purpose of review is to detect tumor recurrence and metastasis early and treat them as early as possible. 2. If the patient is non-radical resection, the lesion has residual and the current treatment is not enough, radiotherapy can be considered as the next step, which is best designed globally by the chief surgeon who did the surgery (including whether to carry out further chemotherapy).
