Neurogenic sweating is mostly caused by vegetative nerve dysfunction, and is related to long-term mental tension, psychological stress, and mental stimulation. It is manifested as more sweating, abnormal flavor or accompanied by other symptoms. 1. Excessive sweating: Neurogenic sweating can be characterized by sweating like rain on the face, chest, hands, feet and other areas with developed sweat glands. 2. Abnormal taste: Neurogenic sweating may have a slight odor or a faint salty taste. 3. Other symptoms: Neurogenic sweating can be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, insomnia, dizziness, headache, anxiety and other symptoms. Patients with nervous sweating can be treated with 5-hydroxytryptamine reuptake inhibitors such as sertraline hydrochloride and paroxetine hydrochloride, or norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors such as venlafaxine hydrochloride and mirtazapine.
