Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of compound glycyrrhizin combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of facial reoccurring dermatitis. Methods: 70 cases of this disease were treated with compound glycyrrhizin and Ju Dan Tang (White chrysanthemum, Dan Pi, Scutellaria, Dioscorea, Serpentine, Tu Fu Ling, Bai Xian Pi, etc.), and a control group was set up for comparison. Results: The total effective rate was 94.2%; the total effective rate of the control group was 70.0%, and the difference was highly significant (P0.05). Treatment All patients discontinued glucocorticoid drugs and avoided sun exposure. The treatment group was given compound glycyrrhizin injection 40ml intravenous push, qd, for 5-7 days d. At the same time, the Chinese herbal medicine Ju Dan Tang was administered: 10g of Dang Pi, 12g each of White Chrysanthemum, Scutellaria, and Tu Fu Ling, 15g of Dioscorea, 30g each of Snake Tongue Herb and White Fresh Peel. If the blood heat was very hot, Zi Cao, Bai Mao Root and Di Yu were added; if the face was greasy, Raw Hawthorn and Raw Rice Seed were added; if the itching was very bad, Xu Changqing and Tribulus were added. 1 dose daily, decocted twice with water, divided into morning and evening. Simultaneously with saline cold and wet compresses. Control group: Give calcium gluconate 10ml intravenous push, qd, for 5-7 d. Other treatments were the same as the treatment group. The patients in both groups continued to take Chinese medicine for 3 weeks after intravenous infusion treatment, and 4 weeks was used as a course of treatment. Efficacy criteria: Cured: lesions and itching subsided by 90% or more, no recurrence on follow-up. The effectiveness: lesions and pruritus subsided more than 70%, but there was a recurrence after stopping the drug. Improvement: lesions and itching subsided by 30-70%, with recurrence after stopping the drug. Ineffective: lesions and itching subsided.
