Can Chinese medicine see lung cancer in its early stages?

As early lung cancer cannot be accurately diagnosed by Chinese medicine alone, it is recommended that patients who are not feeling well should consult a doctor in time. Lung cancer belongs to the concept of Western medicine, while Chinese medicine believes that it belongs to the categories of “lung stagnation”, “chest pain”, “cough” and “hemoptysis”. It is usually caused by phlegm and turbidity gathering inside the lungs, internal deficiency of positive qi, or qi stagnation and blood stasis (blood stagnation due to the lack of qi circulation), and it is usually manifested by coughing, hemoptysis, fever, shortness of breath, and chest pain. TCM diagnosis of early stage lung cancer is usually based on chest pain and coughing up phlegm caused by stagnation of qi and blood, cough and fever caused by internal accumulation of phlegm and hemoptysis caused by internal deficiency of positive qi. Chinese medicine cannot diagnose lung cancer at an early stage, so it is recommended that patients who need treatment should consult a doctor in time and be diagnosed after examination.
