What to replace lorazepam with when you stop taking it

Lorazepam is a psychotropic drug and sudden replacement of the drug is generally not recommended, but it can be replaced with diazepam tablets or eszopiclone on the advice of a doctor.
During the period of drug adjustment, lorazepam should be avoided to stop suddenly, and must be reduced slowly, otherwise it is easy to cause some adverse reactions or sequelae due to high drug concentration or sudden stopping of the drug.
The dose of lorazepam should be gradually increased or decreased until the minimum maintenance dose is reached or the drug is discontinued. Patients are advised to consult their doctors before stopping the drug abruptly and to observe the drug-related adverse reactions during the course of drug treatment.
Diazepam tablets and Eszopiclone are mainly used for anxiety, sedation and hypnosis. Some patients may show drowsiness and dizziness when taking them, so they are not recommended for drivers or those engaged in hazardous work.
Some patients also show memory loss. Long-term use can also lead to a decrease in sensitivity to the drug, requiring an increase in dosage to achieve the previous effect, and resistance can even develop.
All medications need to be used under the supervision of a psychiatrist and should not be used or discontinued privately.
