Due to the deep lesions of some intracranial tumors, surgery is risky. Especially some tumors in the brainstem area are even life threatening. If the nature of the tumor can be determined by biopsy, it is more important to guide the clinical treatment. The necessity of glioma biopsy mainly includes the following aspects: 1) to clearly diagnose whether it is glioma or not; 2) glioma biopsy can reduce the incision significantly, and also get the results faster, clarify the pathological nature and guide the clinical treatment.
