What’s wrong with a lot of flakes of dandruff?

A lot of dandruff with large flakes usually has several conditions: the first one may be seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis of the scalp, or it may be asbestosis of the scalp. In the second case, it may be tinea capitis caused by fungal infection of the scalp. In the first case, you can apply selenium disulfide lotion and wash the scalp twice a week for about 5 minutes, then rinse off with water. In the second case, if fungal infection of the scalp is suspected, it is recommended to scrape the dander to check for fungal microscopy, and if it is positive for fungus, then tinea capitis is considered. For tinea capitis, you can use Celebrex lotion to wash the scalp and apply topical antifungal ointment such as naftifine ketoconazole ointment or terbinafine hydrochloride ointment daily. If the disease is severe and has a long duration, it can also be treated more thoroughly with oral antifungal medications, such as itraconazole capsules or terbinafine hydrochloride tablets, taken orally for 2 weeks.
