There are many causes of increased dandruff, and different treatment methods should be adopted according to different causes: i. Seborrheic dermatitis, which is generally a disease caused by fungal infection, can be treated by choosing compound ketoconazole hair shampoo, or selenium disulfide shampoo to wash the hair once every 2 days for 4 weeks, and keep the shampoo on the scalp area for 5-10 minutes when washing the hair, and then rinse it off with water; ii. Scalp psoriasis, an inflammatory disease of unknown cause, can be treated with oral anti-silver granules, compound glycopyrrolate tablets, and topical pyrithione zinc aerosol; iii. Tinea capitis, especially leucoderma, can be treated with oral itraconazole capsules and topical miconazole nitrate ointment.
