Symptoms of tonsillitis



Tonsillitis can be divided into acute tonsillitis and chronic tonsillitis, with symptoms such as sore throat, dry throat, high fever and chills.

1. Acute tonsillitis: the symptoms are generally more acute, mainly sore throat, which may radiate to the ear and cause earache, sometimes accompanied by dysphagia, irritating cough, and in severe cases, high fever, chills, fatigue, loss of appetite, sometimes accompanied by headache. Children may have convulsions, lethargy and other discomforts caused by high fever.

2. Chronic tonsillitis: There are no obvious symptoms locally, but sometimes it may cause dry, itchy throat, foreign body sensation in the throat, and there may be bad breath, snoring and breathlessness. It may also cause bad breath, snoring, poor breathing, etc. Sometimes it may cause symptoms of low-grade fever.
