Paralysis cannot be cured, and the degree of recovery after treatment depends on the degree of hemiplegia and the cause of the hemiplegia. The most common cause of hemiplegia is due to stroke, and some patients are caused by trauma. If the paralysis caused by stroke occurs in non-critical areas, such as the parietal ventricle and hemianopia, the patient can usually walk with support if the degree of paralysis is mild, and most patients recover well and can take care of themselves after medication and later acupuncture and rehabilitation treatment. If the degree of paralysis is severe, the whole limb cannot move at the onset, the infarct area is large or it occurs in critical areas, such as the basal ganglia area and brainstem, the recovery is usually slower and there are even sequelae of varying degrees.
