After myopia surgery, patients may be nearsighted again, mainly related to the patient’s eye habits. Myopia surgery only changes the curvature of the cornea or implants an IOL, and does not change the fundus and intraocular structures. If, after myopia surgery, the patient does not pay attention to controlling eye use and continues to use the eyes excessively, often in a state of visual fatigue, myopia may reappear, i.e. myopia regression. If the patient does not pay attention to eye use, some patients’ myopia may reach or even exceed the original myopia. Myopia patients need to develop good eye habits after surgery and avoid eye fatigue to avoid myopia regression. After myopia surgery, patients are advised to follow the doctor’s instructions, have regular checkups, and consult the doctor when discomfort occurs.
