The first thing to do is to decide whether or not to treat a cyst based on the size of the cyst and whether or not you have symptoms. The vast majority of seminal vesicle cysts are asymptomatic. If there are no symptoms and the cysts are relatively small, you should wait and see. If the cyst is large and there are symptoms of pressure on the seminal vesicles or even bloody semen, then surgical treatment can be considered. It is recommended that you consider laparoscopic seminal vesicle cyst surgery for cysts larger than 3cm, which may have symptoms of compression. Seminal vesicle cysts are a benign lesion and are generally not cancerous, so for the vast majority of seminal vesicle cysts it is a case of watchful waiting.
