The tubercle bacillus cannot survive on a quilt for a year, but usually survives for a few hours or so. Mycobacterium tuberculosis, or Mycobacterium tuberculosis, causes tuberculosis, most commonly pulmonary tuberculosis. Mycobacterium tuberculosis is an aerobic bacterium with an optimal temperature of 37 degrees Celsius and can survive for months or years in a dry environment. Indoors in dark, damp places, Mycobacterium tuberculosis can remain alive for months. It usually survives for a few hours on quilts. Mycobacterium tuberculosis is sensitive to ultraviolet light, and Mycobacterium tuberculosis in sputum under direct sunlight can be killed in 2-7 hours, and ultraviolet lamps are often used to sterilize laboratories or wards. Sunlight irradiation can eliminate Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis on the quilt after sunlight irradiation, basically a few hours can kill all. Therefore, patients with tuberculosis can have their clothes sterilized by sunlight as well as ultraviolet light.
