Can Great White Lung be cured?

Whether Great White Lung can be cured is closely related to the cause of the patient’s disease, his physical condition, and whether the treatment is timely and effective. If the patient’s condition is relatively mild and his/her physical condition is good, he/she can be cured; however, if his/her condition is more severe, combined with heavier underlying diseases, and if the treatment is not timely, the prognosis is generally poor. Large white lung is usually caused by pathogens such as bacterial or viral infections resulting in severe pneumonia, which can be visualized as a white, high-density shadow on imaging. If the patient’s lesion is small in size, the patient may have a better prognosis through active anti-infection, promotion of sputum drainage and oxygen therapy. However, if the patient’s infection is large and the underlying disease is severe, the treatment is generally less effective. When the patient’s condition is severe, there may be symptoms such as respiratory failure and hypoxemia, which will require the use of a ventilator for adjuvant treatment and sensitive antibiotics to fight the infection. If the infection is viral, it can be controlled with antiviral drugs. As the condition of some patients is too severe, it has caused serious complications, respiratory failure and life-threatening. Patients with large white lung should actively cooperate with their physicians to avoid delays.
