How to check your breasts

Women over 35 years old are recommended to learn to self-examine their breasts, more conveniently as a hand check when taking a bath or lying in bed before going to bed, as follows: 1. Observe the size of the breasts in the dressing mirror when taking a bath, whether the left and right are symmetrical, whether the nipples and areolas are at the same height, and whether there are any abnormal changes in the skin. You can touch your breasts with your hands when you take a bath to see if there are lumps and whether they are the same bilaterally, so that the check is easy to find breast lumps and nodules; 2. Lie in bed at night before going to bed and check the left breast with your right hand and the right breast with your left hand, touching in order such as clockwise and counterclockwise. Women should check each position of the breast clearly, and if nodules are found, they should go to the hospital in time. If both breasts are symmetrical and in the same condition, it can be considered as no abnormality. It is clinically recommended that patients with a family history and over 35 years of age should go to the hospital for regular checkups. For women without a family history, it is recommended that they go to the hospital for a regular checkup every six months until they are over 40 years of age.
