The common gynecological diseases include irregular menstruation, bring down, infertility, dysmenorrhea, etc. The commonly used acupoints are Sanyinjiao, Sea of Blood, and Hidden White. Sea of Blood: located in the anterior femoral region, 2 inches above the medial end of the base of the patella, at the elevation of the medial femoral (medial thigh) muscle. It is used for treating irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia, cryptorchid rash, eczema, salpingitis (an acute infection in which the skin is red like paint), and medial knee and femoral pain. 3. Hidden White: Located on the toe, medial side of the last section of the big toe, 0.1 inch behind the lateral angle of the root of the toenail. It is used for treating excessive menstruation, metrorrhagia (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling), blood in the stool, blood in the urine, epilepsy, excessive dreaming, convulsions (pediatric disorders mainly manifested by dizziness, apoplexy, and convulsions), abdominal fullness, and violent diarrhea.
