The white fluid that appears in the vagina is called vaginal discharge, also known as leukorrhea. It is usually a mixture of exudate from the vaginal mucosa, secretion from the glands of the cervical canal, secretion from the endometrial glands and shed epithelial cells, and is formed very closely with the action of estrogen. The normal leucorrhea of women is white thin paste or white egg white like, generally there is no odor of secretion, no vulvar itching and no pain in vulva and vagina, this condition of vaginal secretion is called physiological leucorrhea, which is normal vaginal secretion. If the patient has vaginal inflammation or cervical inflammation, the vaginal discharge will increase and the nature of the vaginal discharge will change or be combined with vulvar itching and vaginal pain, etc. This vaginal discharge is called pathological leucorrhea.
