Tofu-like discharge from the vagina is often caused by Candida albicans infection and is accompanied by vulvar itching and swelling. In clinical practice, it is recommended that the vagina be douched with 5% sodium bicarbonate or diclofenac, and after the discharge has been rinsed out, a mycobacterium suppository can be inserted into the vagina for treatment if there is no drug allergy. In case of allergy to mycobacterial suppositories, it is recommended to use clotrimazole suppositories for seven consecutive days or until clinical symptoms disappear completely. It is advisable to go to the hospital three days after discontinuation to check if Candida is still present. If it still shows positive, continue to use the medicine for a week, if it has appeared negative, it is recommended to do two more consecutive tests and both are negative before you can stop the medicine. In addition, Candida can be cross-infected through sexual contact, so you should not have sexual intercourse until the laboratory test turns negative.
