The exact location of the Shenwei point

The exact location of the Shen Vein point is in the depression located on the outer ankle, directly below the tip of the outer ankle, between the lower edge of the outer ankle and the heel bone.
Shen Vein is an acupoint on the Foot Solar Bladder Meridian. It is located at the outer ankle, straight down from the tip of the outer ankle, in the depression between the lower edge of the outer ankle and the heel bone. The functional effects of this point are to relax the tendons and activate the collaterals (stretching the tendons and bones, dredging the meridians), tranquilize the mind, and clear heat by dispersing wind and clearing heat. It is used for treating headache, vertigo, insomnia, epilepsy, stroke, schizophrenia, and back and leg pain.
Specific combinations of this point are: with Huanjiu point, Yinshi point, Fengshi point for lumbar and leg pain; with Sanli point of the hand, Carpal bone point, Hegu point for stroke hemiplegia (inability to move a limb at will); with Hundred Meetings point, Daxi vertebrae point, and Maijie point for epilepsy; with Xingmai point, Shushanli point, and Jinguen point for difficulty in flexing and extending the foot and knee; and with Jinguen and Chengjian points for headache.
