There are three types of HPV vaccines currently available: bivalent and quadrivalent HPV vaccines for women between the ages of 9 and 45; and the nine-valent HPV vaccine for women between the ages of 16 and 26. The HPV vaccine, or human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, is relatively expensive as the higher the price point of the vaccine, the wider the range of diseases it prevents. The current nine-valent vaccine, can have a good preventive effect on nine different HPV types of infections, thus also effectively preventing the occurrence of cervical cancer conditions. However, it should be noted that HPV vaccination should be contraindicated or postponed for those who are allergic to any of the active ingredients or excipients of the HPV vaccine, those who have a compromised immune system, those who are suffering from an acute and severe febrile illness, and women who are preparing for pregnancy, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
