Blood Shengbao Combination is composed of Radix Polygoni Multiflori, Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Mulberry, Radix Astragali, Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni. Sheng Wei Drink is composed of Ophiopogon, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng and Fructus Schisandrae chinensis. There are no contraindications to the compounding of the two medications, but the instructions for both fail to clarify whether drug interactions will occur between the two, so it is not recommended to take them together.
Blood Shengbao Combination has the effect of benefiting qi and blood, nourishing the liver and kidney. It is used for dizziness, tinnitus, insomnia, fatigue (mental exhaustion, physical weakness), palpitation, shortness of breath, lumbar and knee pain and weakness, dry throat, poor appetite, and low food intake caused by deficiency of qi and blood, liver and kidney. The adverse reactions and contraindications of this product are not clear.
Sheng Wei Drink has the efficacy of nourishing yin, generating fluid and benefiting qi. It is used for deficiency of qi and yin, shortness of breath, palpitation, and spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, aggravated by sweating with slight movement). It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product. Adverse drug reactions are not clear. Avoid indigestible food. Not suitable for patients with fever and cold.
