Seven early signs of esophageal cancer

In the early stage of esophageal cancer, because the lesions often appear as localized small-scale esophageal mucosa congestion, swelling, erosion, superficial ulcers and small plaque lesions, when food is passed, there will be a feeling of swallowing discomfort or dysphagia. If the condition progresses further, a sensation of obstructive choking may occur, mostly because it is detected when swallowing foods like pancakes, dry molds or other foods that are not easily chewed thoroughly. Eating too hot food for a long time can cause serious damage to the esophagus and can easily lead to esophageal cancer, so the temperature of daily diet should not be too high. It can be seen that dietary habits are very important for esophageal cancer. To prevent esophageal cancer, we need to know the early symptoms of esophageal cancer. If the following 7 symptoms appear in your body, you should pay attention to them, maybe esophageal cancer is coming to you. In the early stage of this disease, because the lesions often show local small esophageal mucosa congestion, swelling, erosion, superficial ulcers and small plaque lesions, when food is passed, there will be a feeling of swallowing discomfort or dysphagia. If the disease progresses further, a feeling of obstructive choking will appear, mostly because it can be found when swallowing foods like pancakes, dry molds or other foods that are not easily chewed thoroughly. Patients feel that they have bruised their esophagus by eating rough food or swallowed a foreign body by mistake and it remains in the esophagus, such as rice grains or vegetable fragments attached to the esophagus and cannot be swallowed, i.e. there is no pain and it is not related to eating. The location of foreign body sensation mostly coincides with the location of esophageal cancer lesion. 3. Slow passage of food and sensation of retention There is often a self perception of small esophageal opening, difficulty in swallowing and retention of food. These symptoms only appear when swallowing food and disappear after eating, and they are not related to the nature of food, even when drinking water. Fourth, there is a sense of dryness and urgency in the throat Often feel that the swallowing of food does not go smoothly, and there is a slight pain, a little dry, tight feeling. Especially when swallowing dry or rough food, this dry, tight feeling is more obvious. In addition, the occurrence of such early symptoms is related to mood swings. V. Stuffy discomfort behind the sternum Only vaguely feel discomfort in the chest, can neither point out the location of discomfort, nor describe the details of discomfort. Pain behind the sternum This kind of manifestation is more common in early stage esophageal cancer patients. There is a slight pain behind the sternum when swallowing food, and the site of the pain can be felt. The nature of pain can be burning pain, stabbing pain or pulling and rubbing pain. The severity of the pain is related to the nature of the food. When swallowing rough, hot or irritating food, the pain is more severe; when swallowing liquid, warm food, the pain is less severe. The pain is worse when swallowing food and is reduced or even disappears after eating. Most of these symptoms can be treated with medication and temporarily relieved, but the condition will recur after a few days or months, and recur and exist for a longer period of time. VII. Pain under the subxiphoid process Self-perceived burning-like stabbing pain under the subxiphoid process, varying in severity, mostly occurring when swallowing food, and relieving or disappearing after eating. Some of them are persistent vague pains, which are not related to eating.
