Granulomatous lesion is a nodular lesion formed by macrophages and their associated cells leading to local infiltrative growth and proliferation. There are various causative factors, the common ones are: first, infectious granuloma, often caused by bacteria, syphilis, fungi, parasites, etc. The nodules caused by tuberculosis bacteria are more specific, with a central caseous necrosis. Second, foreign body granuloma, often caused by the entry of sutures, dust, wood spikes, talcum powder, etc. into the tissue, the lesion is centered on the foreign body and surrounded by many macrophages, fibroblasts, lymphocytes, etc. Thirdly, nodular lesion granuloma, which is a lesion of unknown etiology, requires a pathological biopsy to be performed in hospital for clarification.
