Being able to see the skin beating at the heart may or may not be normal, it may be caused by thinness or it may be an elevated apical beat. 1. Normal: The tip of the heart can impinge on the chest wall during a heartbeat, resulting in a beating in the chest wall. In some younger, thinner, and thinner people, it may be possible to see skin fluttering at the heart, especially when lying on the left side. 2. Abnormal: If there is an elevated apical beat, sometimes the apical beat can be seen through the clothes, or the apical beat is more diffuse, and may be accompanied by palpitations, chest tightness, dyspnea and other symptoms, which may be caused by cardiac insufficiency, viral myocarditis and other pathologic factors. If the beating is more obvious or accompanied by other discomforts, it is recommended to consult the doctor in time for relevant examinations to exclude organic causes.
