What does NKT immunotherapy do?

NKT immunotherapy is primarily used in the treatment of cancer.
NKT cells are immune cells that are found in very small quantities in the body but can launch an efficient attack on cancer cells. Therefore, the purpose of NKT immunotherapy is to increase the number of NKT cells in the body, thereby strengthening the immune system as well as the ability to fight cancer.
In NKT immunotherapy, NKT cells are collected from the blood of a healthy person, and then IPS cells, which can differentiate and proliferate NKT cells, are cultivated to proliferate and differentiate NKT cells in large quantities, and then a large number of NKT cells are injected back into the body.
And when NKT cells are activated by cancer cells in the body, it will cause DC cells to be induced and make them fully mature, thus utilizing the mechanism of T cells and NK cells to kill cancer cells quickly. In addition, the function of NKT cells can also induce other immune cells to fight against cancer cells.
This therapy is still in the research stage and has not been applied to the clinic in a large number of cases, so it is recommended that patients go to specialized hospitals for consultation.
