Normal range of HPV virus E6 and E7

HPV virus is known as human papillomavirus. A negative HPV virus test result falls within the normal range of E6 and E7. HPV virus infection in women is the main cause of cervical cancer. In clinical practice, E6 and E7 are used to detect the degree of HPV infection. If a woman is not infected with HPV virus or the virus has completely disappeared through treatment, the test result will be negative. If the test is positive, it means that the HPV virus is present in the woman’s body or even in the active stage of virus replication, colposcopy or cervical cytology is needed to rule out the early manifestation of cervical cancer. Women who suffer from vulvar warts or have premature sex or too many sexual partners are prone to HPV infection and are advised to take good vaginal care in their daily life.
