When a woman experiences a small amount of vaginal bleeding when she is not menstruating, it depends on whether it is coming from the uterine cavity or from the cervix. If it is coming from the uterine cavity, consider if it is abnormal uterine bleeding due to ovulatory bleeding or menstrual disorders. For ovulatory bleeding, once in a while, no special treatment is needed. For abnormal bleeding due to menstrual disorders, take oral caffeic acid tablets, uterine blood and progesterone to stop the bleeding symptomatically. If the bleeding is caused by cervical problems, you need to go to a hospital gynecologist for cervical TCT and HPV tests. If the bleeding is diagnosed to be caused by cervical erosion, consider treatment with Povidon suppositories. If it is caused by cervical polyp, perform polypectomy. If it is cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, consider cervical LEEP knife for treatment. If it is cervical cancer, hospitalization and total hysterectomy will be performed immediately.
