TCT, called thin layer liquid-based cytology, is an important screening method for cervical lesions and is widely used in gynecological clinics. It is done by using a professional small brush to brush out the exfoliated cells from the cervical area, elute them in the preservation solution, then smear them, observe the cell morphology under the microscope, and finally determine whether the cells are normal or not. It can detect atypical squamous cells, atypical glandular epithelial cells, carcinoma in situ, etc. TCT examination is simple, short and accurate, and the specimen is usually collected 3 days after menstruation without having sex, and the surface secretion of the cervix is dried before collection. After the examination, sexual intercourse is prohibited for 15 days. Pay attention to vulva hygiene, wear loose cotton underwear, change underwear regularly, and disinfect underwear with boiling water.
