Polycystic generally refers to polycystic ovary syndrome. The treatments for polycystic ovary syndrome caused by hyperandrogenism usually include medication, surgery and other treatments, and it is recommended to treat the condition under the guidance of a doctor. 1. Drug treatment: when accompanied by elevated androgen, spironolactone and short-acting compound oral contraceptive pills can be used; when accompanied by menstrual disorders, estradiol and dydrogesterone can be used as prescribed by the doctor; and when accompanied by insulin resistance, metformin and other drugs can be used. 2. Surgery: Laparoscopic ovarian perforation should be considered when letrozole treatment is ineffective or when there is persistent luteinizing hormone overproduction. 3. Other treatments: patients with polycystic ovary syndrome who have been infertile for a long period of time and have failed to receive medication may also be considered for in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer. Patients diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome with elevated androgens should actively cooperate with their doctors.
