What is the Lct test?

LCT is an automated cell detection system, also known as a liquid-based cell detection system, for cervical screening. tCT has basically replaced LCT and they both serve the same purpose, they are both used for cervical cancer screening, while TCT is more specialized and has stronger pathology requirements. So TCT has basically replaced LCT and now requires combined screening with TCT and HPV. If the test results are negative, the screening can be performed again at 2 years interval. If there are problems with TCT or HPV test, especially positive for HPV high-risk 16 and 18, further cervical biopsy should be recommended to take cervical 3, 6, 9 and 12, 4 points of tissue or thicker white acetate for biopsy to further clarify the diagnosis.
