What is LC surgery

LC is the abbreviation for laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is now the main procedure for the treatment of benign gallbladder diseases, and when gallbladder stones or gallbladder polyps need to be removed, laparoscopic cholecystectomy can be performed. The advantages of this procedure are less trauma, shorter operation time, less intraoperative bleeding, more favorable for fine dissection, and relatively less postoperative complications. Therefore, it has incomparable advantages over traditional open surgery and is now the gold standard for clinical treatment of benign gallbladder diseases.
