How long does a coronary angiogram take?

The coronary angiogram is usually done in 10-20 minutes, but some people may need longer time. First of all, a skin test should be done before the angiogram, and an iodine allergy test should be done first to see if there are any allergic symptoms, if there is iodine allergy, there is no way to check the coronary artery angiogram. If the puncture is smooth, the coronary angiography can be done through the right upper limb. If not, coronary angiography is usually done through the femoral artery of the lower limb, and it is best to choose a regular secondary or higher hospital.
