Is it serious for a two-month-old baby to fall out of bed?

Falling out of bed in a two-month-old baby is usually not serious, but if it is accompanied by persistent crying, vomiting and other symptoms, prompt medical attention is needed.
1. Babies weigh less and have more flexible bones, so falling out of bed usually does not cause serious injury. If the baby’s crying stops soon after being calmed by the parents, and the baby is not accompanied by symptoms such as projectile vomiting, fever, drowsiness or even coma, it is considered that the baby has not suffered any serious injuries.
2. If the baby has the above symptoms, parents should take the child to the hospital as soon as possible for cranial CT and other tests to determine whether there is intracranial hemorrhage and other injuries. Parents should also pay attention to the presence of clavicle fracture and other limb injuries.
Parents are advised to pay attention to the child’s behavior and seek medical attention if there is any abnormality.
