What are the symptoms of gas poisoning?

Severe carbon monoxide poisoning can have varying degrees of impairment of consciousness, nausea, vomiting, aspiration or even cerebral edema, pulmonary edema or failure of multiple organs, and convulsions can also occur. Death can occur from a single inhalation of high concentrations of carbon monoxide poisoning.
