The cause of hand numbness is nothing more than a neurological problem, which can be either a deceptive sensation of hand numbness by the nervous system, or hand numbness due to a real neurological lesion. If it is the central nervous system, such as the cerebral cortex has produced a certain lesion, it may be mistakenly thought that it will be hand numbness phenomenon, which is due to head disease. In the vast majority of cases, however, it is due to a lesion of the brachial plexus. A lesion of the brachial plexus can be caused by radiculopathy, by a lesion of the brachial plexus itself, or even by dermatomyelitis caused by branches of the intrinsic nerves of the hand, which triggers numbness in the hand. There are also rare causes, such as blunt contusions and sharp force injuries to the hand, which lead to hand numbness.
