A 14mm thick endometrium does not mean that it is cancer, as there may just be a thick endometrium. And it is important to determine what period of time the endometrial thickening is detected, for example, it is normal to have a 14mm thick endometrium when it is before menstruation. For example, a 14mm thick endometrium is normal if it is detected before menstruation because the period is approaching, but if the endometrium is 14mm thick in the middle or just after menstruation, there is an abnormality. A diagnostic endoscopy is needed to help scrape out the endometrium and perform pathology tests to determine what kind of tissue is present. Most of the thickened endometrium is due to hormone levels, and according to the pathology test results, targeted medication can be used to regulate it. Not all endometrial thickening of 14mm is necessarily cancer. Therefore, accurate judgment can only be made through laboratory tests.
