How to treat endometrial tuberculosis

The treatment of endometrial tuberculosis is mainly divided into three aspects: 1. General treatment: Tuberculosis is usually a chronic wasting disease, so attention should be paid to rest, avoid straining, enhance nutrition, and strengthen the patient’s resistance and immune function during the treatment process, which also has a certain effect on the treatment. In addition, sexual intercourse should be avoided as much as possible during treatment; 2. Treatment with anti-tuberculosis drugs: reasonable anti-tuberculosis drug treatment is an important way to completely cure endometrial tuberculosis. The first-line anti-tuberculosis drugs commonly used are the same as other anti-tuberculosis drugs, mainly isoniazid, rifampin, ethambutol, pyrazinamide, streptomycin, and so on. However, the treatment time for endometrial tuberculosis is much longer than that for pulmonary tuberculosis alone. Patients need to build up confidence and do not stop the drugs at will, and must complete the course of treatment in order to achieve a real cure; 3. Surgery: these patients are in the minority and are generally used for patients with unsatisfactory results of drug treatment, and the anti-tuberculosis drugs cannot be discontinued after surgery, and the course of treatment must be completed; in short, the whole process of tuberculosis treatment is relatively long, and it also requires the understanding and care of family members to overcome the disease together.
