Most children with swollen upper eyelids but no abnormal urine routine are not suffering from kidney disease. If the swelling is not severe, try correcting the sleeping position, avoiding sleeping on the stomach and drinking less water before bedtime to see if there is any relief. If there is no relief, you should further check for diseases of the eyelid area, such as inflammation of the eyes, and systemic diseases such as liver disease, heart disease and blood disorders.
