If the upper eyelid swelling occurs due to bad habits in life or after heavy crying, ice packs can be applied to relieve the swelling and improve the symptoms.
Dip a towel in cold water then wring it out and apply it to your eyes for 5-10 minutes at a time, which can be done more than once. You can also use your fingers to massage the area from your eyebrows to your temples to help relieve the symptoms as well.
