The phenomenon of headache, vomiting and low fever in a six-year-old child may be due to the following two reasons: First, a viral infection caused by gastrointestinal flu, the child will have a headache, vomiting and low fever, after giving antiviral treatment and at the same time giving antipyretic treatment for the child’s fever level, the child’s vomiting and headache symptoms will generally be relieved. In the case of low fever, usually no antipyretic drugs are needed, and the body temperature can be reduced to normal by physical cooling. Second, some pathogenic infections caused by encephalitis or meningitis, the child will cause increased intracranial pressure, thus causing the symptoms of headache. If the headache is obvious, the child will have the symptoms of vomiting, and if necessary, mannitol should be applied to lower the cranial pressure to relieve the symptoms of headache and vomiting. Depending on the temperature, if physical cooling is possible, the fever can be reduced by physical cooling with antipyretic patches or assisted with hot water wipes.
