Pediatric Strabismus and Amblyopia

Before reading, please refer to the following points, the child to check: will be more eye-catching objects in front of the child, observe whether he can find in time; change the direction of the object, observe whether the child has to follow the reaction (you can choose from large to small group of objects, the way of placing should be from near to far); observation of the child’s two-eyed, one-eyed gaze when the situation, pay attention to him watching TV whether he likes to come very close ; whether the child has an unusual head position when looking at things, for example, whether he likes to look up or down; whether the child can stare steadily when looking at objects. If the child’s eyeballs turn back and forth or tremble, amblyopia is possible. During the examination, if parents find any abnormalities in their child’s vision, please take your child to a regular hospital for examination immediately. Generally speaking, children aged 3 to 4 years old can already be diagnosed with vision abnormalities through visual acuity charts.
