Can I eat breakfast with a lung CT?

Pulmonary CT is perfectly fine for breakfast, not only for breakfast but also for Chinese food and dinner, which means that doing pulmonary CT has nothing to do with eating or not eating, and eating will not affect the accuracy of pulmonary CT test results. The reason is simple: the CT lung examination is on the lungs, that is, the chest, including the thorax, thoracic vertebrae, ribs, lung tissue, bronchi, mediastinum, pleura and other organs and parts, these organs and parts are not organs of the digestive system, and food does not pass directly through these organs after eating. The vast majority of the food eaten passes through the esophagus into the stomach and intestines for digestion and decomposition, in which process there is no interference with the CT of the lungs, or the interference produced can be ignored. If choking occurs while eating breakfast, causing food to fall into the airway may have an effect on the lung CT results, but the probability is extremely small, so it is perfectly fine to have a lung CT for breakfast.
