What to do when a woman has gray nails

Gray nail growth in women may be caused by fungal infection and trauma. Anti-fungal and other medications, or photodynamic and other non-pharmacological treatments should be carried out.
1. Drug treatment: If there is fungal infection in the skin, the fungus can gradually infect the nails from the skin and turn them into gray nails. Amorphophallus application should be used locally for local infiltration, and it can also be used with oral fluconazole, itraconazole, terbinafine and other antifungal drugs for combined treatment.
2. Non-pharmacological treatment: If the daily wearing of shoes is too tight, squeezed or hit by hard objects, the fungus can be infected from the broken surface of the nail to the nail, forming gray nails.
According to the condition, laser treatment can be used, which has the characteristics of high energy and high targeting, and has the inhibiting effect on the pathogenic bacteria. Photodynamic therapy can also be used, which can effectively kill pathogenic organisms. If the effect is not satisfactory, oral itraconazole, terbinafine and other systemic intermittent treatment is recommended.
All the above medications should be used under the guidance of a doctor, avoid self-medication. For the same disease, patients with different physical conditions and different stages of the disease, the treatment methods are different and should be standardized under the guidance of doctors.
